I’m Akeem Palmer, a graduate of the Computer Science program from the Lakehead-Georgian Partnership and the Lead Software Engineer and Founder of Phonics Software Solutions Inc. in Ontario, Canada. With over five years of experience in telecommunications and software development, I bring a wealth of technical expertise and practical problem-solving skills to every project.

My career highlights include building a report automation tool that transformed data processing capabilities using PHP and Docker, modernizing key Laravel-based infrastructure for enhanced efficiency, and developing a robust payment processing application for a Bahamian college leveraging JavaScript, PostgreSQL, and AWS. These projects reflect my ability to innovate and deliver reliable, scalable solutions that drive business success.

My technical skill set spans languages like Golang, JavaScript, and PHP, with experience in databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, and platforms like Docker and AWS. I am specializing in backend engineering with Golang, building high-performance, scalable applications. Beyond development, I have been recognized for my solutions-oriented approach, winning first place in the Bell Hackathon for creating “UrWay,” an innovative accessibility platform.
